I like to think that film photography found me. After I was given my first camera and learned how to use it properly, I began to research and keep my eye out for more cameras everywhere I went. A vast collection began to grow and continues to grow today.
I love each piece of equipment I add to my collection because they each remind me of a simpler, different time. Each addition has a deep history, such as living through multiple wars and passing through countless hands, and each one shoots a little differently than the last. It’s very interesting to me to learn from which year and region each piece is that I find came from and imagining what it’s been through. I always enjoy the satisfaction of using vintage equipment because it was created to be utilized, and doing so keeps its memory alive.
